Terry Pratchett: The Last Continent

The Last Continent (Discworld, #22; Rincewind #6)The Last Continent by Terry Pratchett
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I stand by the fact that it was too close to the real world. But, no worries. It is still fun and witty and sarcastic and an easy read. I just hope that it’ll be a bit more disc-worldly and less Earthly because I don’t think it needs this obvious connection to comment on the world we live in 🙂

  1. I think Pratchett tends to stray towards direct references to our world in most of the Rincewind books (I have read through the Death books and the City Watch books), especially in The Last Continent and Interesting Times. I agree that these are probably his weakest books because connect a little too obviously to our world. I liked your review (and not just because we had similar criticisms)!
